UPDATE: AHA! I found Blogger sets the document mode to IE7, like so:
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7"/>
Oh if there were a way to override this... or get blogger to include support for IE9 in it's doc compatibility...
